Allyouneedislists.com runs on the awesome free Arras Theme. Other than some minor cosmetic customizations, I’ve kept it pretty much in the original state.
Yesterday, I registered on their forums which proved to be quite a thriving community. There’s some good discussion going on, people post their customized sites or share tips on how to do your own customization. Cool!

Although I think a seamless background (without the obvious tiles in the leopard skin) would look much more professional, I really admire the fact that this seems to be quite the community! And those are some big-ass cats, lol!

great pictures, but the website really doesn’t seem finished, loads of open spaces (no featured images on a lot of posts for example). Fix it, and I’ll put you on the list

I use Arras too in my blog network. Visit the blogs in menu and you will see how I used this theme. Each blog has a topic and all them has different colors depending on the topic. If you like, comment there, i will like this.

I just started uses the Arras theme for my web-site and I love the way it looks! I’m still learning, but considering that i’ve only been using this theme for about 3 weeks, I’m really pleased. I post a lot of video and pics, and this theme is perfect!

I’m a bit overwhelmed by that HUGE search bar in the header
it’s not a bad thing (I assume you want people to be able to easily find location info), but you could try and make the header itself a bit lower. Just an idea

I’ve been using Arras for a while and my only complaint is the res difficulty with resizing of photos. I’ve started to use Windows Live Writer though to post to WordPress and that makes HEAPS of difference…

Do you mean the quality of the images when they’re dimensions have been reduced? I believe this can be fixed somewhere (the default quality of thumbnails and such is about 75%, I think).
How does Windows Live Writer help you with this then?

great site, pretty awesome how you have that HUGE circular logo on the entire background. Contrast-wise it’s a little nasty to read black text though, you might want to consider making the content’s background a little less transparent.

This theme is definitely easy to customize, I learned a lot by doing so and now I know a fair share of CSS just by fiddling around with Arras.
Do you mean the Social Statistics widget? It’s called ViperProof and it’s very easy to implement, just have a look here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/viper-proof/ and here http://www.viperchill.com/wordpress-plugins/
Can anyone here help me. I have asked in the arras forum and got no joy. I want to add two sidebars. when I do this I end up with two thin side bars. How do I widen the sidebars and keep the main section the same original size?
Hmm, I never used the 2-sidebar template, so I don’t exactly know where to look. However, it should be fairly easy to do if you have some knowledge of CSS.
What you should look for is the main container (I believe it actually is called something like “#main”), widen it and then change the two sidebars’ css handles accordingly. This probably means you shouldn’t just change the width of the sidebars, but also the margin/padding so it aligns correctly.
Unfortunately I don’t have time to go in to more detail, but I do think you should just ask your question on the official forum again, or try and reach an admin: they’re usually very willing to help out. It’s how I got this site to work!

Great post, I to use the Arras theme and think its the perfect free wp theme out there at the moment. Made some minor customizations myself. Hope you’ll like it. Hmm but i never really understod where/how to code it fullwith.

Just moved from Blogger to WordPress and spent more than 24 hours struggling with the Twenty Twelve theme, which is horribly designed.
Finally ditched it and uploaded Arras, the theme I use on all my websites. In just 30 minutes it’s almost ready to go live.
BEST WordPress theme ever, IMO. Very happy with it on all my sites and, at this point, wouldn’t use anything else.
