Here’s a list of awesome songs and themes from movie soundtracks. These really spring to mind for me when I think of memorable movie moments. The cool thing about tracks like these is that you can often actually picture the scene it was played in.

For your convenience I added Spotify, and IMDB buttons for easy listening.

Sietse (Seet-suh) is the founder of and all-round web enthusiast. Designing websites for about 10 years, but only creating content since 2009. The name is Dutch, in case you're wondering.

  1. I would also like to add “The Kiss” from Last of the Mohicans and “I Will Find You,” which is also on that soundtrack.

The Last of the Mohicans score is one of my all time favorites!

  2. Hans Zimmer composes great music that makes a real difference when used in films. I would also want to suggest the music of Ivan Noel that is featured in the film En Tu Ausensia ( In your absence ).

  3. Great list Sietse. That terminator track takes me back – must have watched that movie 50 times. Funny how a couple of chords instantly make you want to watch the movie again!!

  4. Ecstacy of Gold, what a great song! I hear it every morning when Opie and Anthony come on the air.

  5. i really like them

  6. Your name isn’t Dutch by the way, its Frisian ;)

    • True! I’m from Gelderland though :)
