5 Ways to Improve Your Health With Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
1 Always use organic products
Owing to the fast paced life, fast food is very popular today, even though it is not very healthy. That’s why you need to counter balance your unhealthy diet and consume as much of the unprocessed, raw foods as possible. Eating organic homegrown fruits and vegetables, preferably from a nearby local farm is one of the best ways to improve your health. Sooner or later we all need to change our eating habits and include more freshness and liveliness in our diet. If possible, all of your vegetables and fruits should be organically grown, even if they come at a higher price. Remember that your health is priceless and always should come first.
2 Eat Seasonal Foods
Eating products that are available seasonally is also a good idea. It can save you money, but it will also enable you to absorb the flavors, living substance and freshness your body needs exactly at that period of the year. You can prepare delicious salads made out of celery, broccoli, tomatoes, lettuce, beans, corn, or other seasonal products. Including at least one fresh salad a day can make a great difference on your health. Depending on the time of year, you can also consume fresh fruits, for example, oranges, apples, blueberries, strawberries, or grapes.

3 Gradually Include More Fresh Vegetables into Your Diet
The point is that, for a start, you need not change too much of our daily eating routine. You can just add some extra fresh nutritional products to what you are already consuming. For example, you can try adding more veggies to a can of soup or whatever meal you are already preparing. Vegetables and fruits can be consumed for snacks, or as dessert after meals. Instead of eating chips and crackers for snacks, you can try fresh cut apples or carrots. If you have a craving to eating sweets after meals, why not replace the sugar with fresh and healthy fruits instead. If you cannot do that, then simply you can reduce the portions and add some fruits on top of them.
4 Prepare Freshly Squeezed Juices
In contrast to cooking, pasteurizing, canning and processing your foods, you should eat raw fruits and veggies whenever possible, or even better prepare delicious juices from them. All you need is a powerful electric juicer (our recommendation is Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Pro) to separate the organic water and living nutritional substances from the pulp. The juices are easily digested by your digestive system, and the nutritional benefit for your bodily systems is great.

5 Prepare Tasteful Smoothies
The smoothies are a great alternative to juicing. You can prepare smoothies with a blender from many different types of fruits, such as, bananas, kiwis, raspberries, blueberries, avocados, shaved coconut, pears, and pineapples. To them you can add organic yogurt, milk or freshly squeezed vegetable juice. It is also possible to use raisins and dried foods that will make you feel full for a longer period of time as compared to the watery fruits. If the fruits have been dried, make sure no chemical have been used in the process. Always go for the naturally dried fruits. Here, you can experiment and try different combinations of veggies and fruits. Smoothies are also great for kids who otherwise would not eat some types of fruits or veggies.
