2 Protect your online identity and location
By connecting to a Personal VPN your real IP address (your local identity and physical address) is replaced with a totally different IP address so you it doesn’t tie your online presence to your real identity and location.
Although this can be useful for many reasons, it will also prevent Google from presenting local search results, for example when you search for a local barber or restaurant. Of course you can simply fix this by just typing your city with your search query.
