In the ocean of the world wide web, it’s pretty hard to get the attention you might deserve.
Apart from the usual sources to generate more traffic from (like guest blogging, commenting on other blogs or forums or submitting your work to Digg, Reddit or the likes) these are five article-submit communities that just might help you get some extra exposure.
The ten websites are divided into three categories: General, Internet Marketing and Design. All of the sites have their own buttons to help your readers share or vote for your work, just like you would with Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon, etcetera.
General blog categories
1 Blog Engage
The ever growing community around Blog Engage is actually pretty awesome. There’s lots of discussion going on, guest blogging opportunities to find and traffic to be generated. For free entry to the website, you can request an invitation in the Blog Engage Forum, but there’s also a way to pay your way in. For just a few dollars per month, you not only gain entry: depending on the monthly plan your RSS feed(s) will be syndicated to other websites as well! Talk about great link building!

2 BlogSERP
BlogSERP (search-engine-results-page) has pretty much the same idea as Blog Engage, only registration is free. The community is still a bit small, but there’s no harm in submitting your articles to a website on the rise!

3 Blog Interact
There aren’t a whole lot of members yet, but this seems to be another “Social Media Network” on the rise! I think because of this small, but growing community, the time is now to make a name for yourself. It is easier to stand out in a small community, afger all. Nearly any category is allowed, so don’t wait and submit your articles today!

SEO, SEM and Internet Marketing related categories
4 SERPd
I think SERPd is one of the leading social media networks for Internet Marketing-related blogs. It’s very interesting to sign up for the site’s RSS feed or drop in on a daily basis for some good reads. Submitting your article about SEO, SEM or Internet Marketing here will be equally interesting and could just provide that bit of extra traffic you need.

5 Blokube
Another great site where you can place your articles. This one isn’t just about internet marketing (you can submit Design and regular Blogging articles as well), but most content on there that also gets most of the exposure are about Search Engine Optimization and the likes. No harm in giving it a go, eh?

6 BizSugar
As the name suggests, it’s all about business-related articles. If you’ve published work about finance, legal issues or marketing surrounding (small) business, this is the place for you!

7 Make Money Online (MMO) Social Network
All you MMO (Make Money Online) articles go here. Everything about how to make money blogging, through marketing or even web design: if you have articles about any of these subjects, submit and promote it here!

8 The Web Blend
Along with DesignFloat (below) The Web Blend is one of the best places to promote your design-related articles. Loads of design-enthusiasts gather here to read your work and share it through their social networks. Give it a go!

9 DesignFloat
Got a portfolio? Or maybe some articles about (web) design or photography? Don’t forget to submit them to DesignFloat! If you don’t have anything to put there yourself, at least have a look around: there’s loads of great information up for grabs!

10 DesignGizer
Hadn’t heard of this one before, but I found it on my quest for filing this list. Looking at the amount of users, articles and votes, however, this site certainly shouldn’t be skipped in your effort to promote your design articles.

Some nice websites mentioned here, I’m seeing BizSugar in most of these kind of lists, definitely gonna give that a try
thanks for your comment mate. BizSugar sure is worth a try, especially if you have an Internet Marketing-related website like you do.
Good luck!
Yes, I echo what has been already said about BizSugar, I have never heared of it. But thanks to this site I now have and I’m now using it!
Thanks again.
definitely suits your business blog! Will you just submit articles or will you include the vote button in your posts as well?
Currently I’ve just submitted an article (I can only post one every 24 hours) because I am new it seems.
I’ve generated 4 views from it at the min, not great but not bad either. I’m just gonna keep posting articles and see whats what. Thanks for that link to the site never heared of it before this.
yeah just keep on submitting your work! and don’t just keep it at one of those sites, I’d say.
Also, it’s pretty easy (and smart) to befriend some people which makes for some cool interaction here and there. Don’t forget to be an active voter/commenter yourself, people will return the favor!
I write a new post on my blog, after, can i submit the same article in all social networks without have penalization from Google for duplicate contents?
Hi CrisHone, thanks for visiting
You could do this yourself and there’s no reason to believe that Google will penalize your for it. Ideally, though, you could have your readers submit the article and vote for it.
Thanks for your answer!
Thanks for the list. When I first saw the title I thought that the networks that everyone knows such as Stumbleupon or Digg will be listed ….but instead I found ten new ( to me ) social networks.
That’s good to hear mate, glad to be of service
Thanks For Great Info. The great list diffidently help for newbies.
