2. La Macchina Di Fubbs

This is something for all the Monty Python fans out there. Have you ever thought it would be fun to play around a bit with Terry Gilliam’s animations? Now you have a chance. This point-and-click browser game extravaganza is full of simple but fun skill games. A dangerous time-waster Salvadore Dali would definitely enjoy.

3. QWOP

We walk on two legs and in an upright position. It took us years of evolution to get here, but apparently, for some of us walking is not cool enough: such crazy people are called joggers. For the individuals not really fond of running, there’s QWOP. The idea is simple: use four control keys (yes, it’s Q, W, O and P) to move the athlete’s thighs and calves and complete the distance of 100 metres. Well, easier said than done. Way easier.

4. Samorost

Samorost (isn’t the name already pretty weird itself?) is a point-and-click adventure game. You are a tiny little alien who drifts through space on his very own planet – and what a planet! The 2D world of Samorost is well-nuanced and definitely out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, our alien’s flying home faces grave danger: there’s another planet coming straight at it! To save the little one from his dreadful destiny you’ll definitely have to put your thinking cap on.

5. Stair Fall

This one sounds really silly when put down on paper: your task is to push a stick figure down the stairs. The more damage, the higher the score. Obviously, the idea is not very humanitarian – some might even call it cruel, but this is probably not the place to discuss the legitimacy of violence in browser games. Stair Fall is a surprisingly enticing, simple skill game with good dynamics. It may be hard to believe, but it even spawned a sequel.
